Keith Kellogg, US President Donald Trump’s special envoy for Ukraine and Russia, has stated that Ukraine should be prepared to hold elections during wartime, asserting that the ability to do so is a “sign of a healthy democracy”.

      I was implying they won’t let the next elections to take place. Trump already promised people that they “won’t have to vote anymore”.

        That just means they’ll rig them, not eliminate them. Basically all dictators still run elections, because their supporters “need” that veneer of legitimacy.
