I disagree, you can see so much on the old layout specifically because it’s a wall of text. The new layout is unnecessarily bloated and takes up your whole screen on every device you view it from, so you can barely see more than one or two posts at a time. It removes the ability for the user to freely scroll and look at things that interest them, and forces the user’s attention onto exactly what the algorithm wants them to. The new layout removes a ton of agency from the user.

I agree, I’m not a big fan of most of their menu these days. Though, their Famous Bowls always hit hard.

Yeah, most fast food places here have delivery options now, usually partnered through UberEats or GrubHub or one of those apps. At least in the cities, they do.

Otherwise, they also will typically let you order online so you can schedule it to be ready when you get there to pick it up, yourself.

Not surprising. Their watches weren’t really priced well enough for a product that has such a short lifespan. They were charging as much as an actual designer watch which would otherwise last decades, for a product whose non-replaceable battery has a lifespan of only a few years.

The first computer I got regular use out of was an old Apple II (or Apple ][ for the real ones), which I used almost exclusively for playing Zork.

After that, I got some hand-me-down computer from my grandpa when I was about 15. Had a Pentium II, 1 GB of storage, and an whopping 256 MB of RAM. Used it to play Starcraft, chat on IRC, and post on forums back when those were still fun.

True, but no one is going to pay for content with production values barely above tiktok videos - which is what most of YouTube’s most famous content is.

I don’t think of it as paying for the content, as much as just paying for an ad-free experience that doesn’t require maintenance on my end and still helps pay creators. I watch YouTube a lot, and on several devices that aren’t easy to adblock on, so I just pay for a family plan and none of my family has to see ads on any of their devices, either. I don’t think YouTube is really doing exclusive content anymore, so that’s not really a huge reason to subscribe.

YTP is one of the few “quality of life” subscriptions that I think is genuinely worth it, IMO.
