Blood is just as bad, but yes, the markup is insane in the US, compared to the machinery and time to collect plasma.

Blood, for instance gets sold by the red cross to hospitals for around $215 per unit. Hospitals in turn will charge anywhere from $580 to $3,000 for it.

Also, most blood is used for elective surgeries that are not life critical. Any time you hear about their being a blood shortage that could effect what hospitals can give, what they actually mean is that there’s plenty for emergency and necessary use, but they may have to postpone elective and cosmetic surgeries.

Obviously, the issue would be solved easily by paying people enough to be worth it to donate. People would be lining up if they got something like $100 to donate a pint. Something that only takes about 30 minutes to do.

You can, but it’s a lot of number crunching time to convert a bunch of files like that, as opposed to just using a different player.

Thankfully, vlc’s audio offset function is very easy to quickly adjust and save. As long as the audio delay is consistent you can adjust it pretty quickly.

The Lucas looks more Sci fi, but usage wise, I prefer one called AutoPulse. It looks less “brutal” when being used in front of patients family/bystanders, isn’t as loud, and the newer ones have a built in tarp with straps to pick up the patient and carry them so the stretcher. Also has a much lower profile.

I’ve been an EMT for over 15 years. It’s now common place that ambulances carry battery powered devices that do cpr compressions for you. The things are incredible, really. Freeing up a person from needing to do it, no longer worrying about fatigue, and not having an extra person to do compressions in the way of moving around the patient is just fantastic.

I think the concept was old and fully grasped. Reducing the latency enough to make it work in headphones and earbuds was the magic part.

Everything at the one I’ve been going to seems on the up and up. (I use the apk and hit the drive through). Foods been between pretty warm and hot every time. You should do a stability test, but that list is supposed to be confirmed tested viability. If you were unstable out of the box there’s a list of reasons for it, and mobo incompatibility isn’t at the top. It could be anything from the ram sticks themselves being faulty, to needing to be up to a certain firmware version on the mobo, to needing to change to a different compatibility/tuning mode to needing to manually change the timings (the qvl shows what timings the ram runs correctly at, it’s seldom “plug and play”), to lastly, the ram tested for qvl may have been made in Japan, while the sticks you bought, despite being the same model number/brand were made from a factory in Taiwan or Korea.

Bottom line, your ram not working out the box does not mean the mobo qvl is incorrect.

I highly doubt that 350 board will support 3600 mhz. More likely it only supports 3,100 but will likely only be stable at around 2,900mhz.

Check your board specs and (this will help a lot) look up on the boards website the list of specific ram and speeds it has been tested to work on, and stick to buying something on that list. It will save you headaches.

Also, stick to just using 2 ram slots. Even if you have 4 of the same ram sticks, boards still actually run better using only two of them (two 8GB sticks run better than four 4GB sticks).

On a system that old, you definitely don’t need over 16GB. Ram won’t be your bottleneck.

Ouch. Umm…start with mage and dump all your upgrade scrolls into the staff for a while. Then when you get a tier 4 or 5 armor, put like 5 upgrades into that.

Huntress only took me like 5 tries to win with. Got some great items that paired well with her. I’m having a real bad go of it with the dualist. Been getting wrecked.

Jebus. I’ve played about 60 games. Need to beat it with the dualist. Then I’ll have a win from each of the 5 classes. Game has one heck of a learning curve to it.

“Battlevoid: Harbinger” is a great little spaceship battle game. Only like 56MB. I’ve kept it on my phone for literally over 7 years now. It’s a hard to win strategy roguelike game with space ships.

It’s cheap to buy, no adds, no in apk purchases, no online requirements, small, and has pretty much no BS about it. Just a great Lil game.
