Nice reference
Matthew McConaughey is a pretty famous actor.

Featuring Jonathan Nyberg as Matthew McConaughey
Seems like it’s not the actual Matthew McConaughey unfortunately. What a strange project.
The most satisfying thing about this is that he lost 23 Bitcoins in 2014. Couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy.
The interesting part starts around tweet 65.
The Linux version of the game is sometimes treated like an unloved stepchild though. I actually played the game through Wine for years because the Windows build had about twice the FPS on my Linux system.
There’s also a bug when reflections are enabled that makes the game unplayable and it hasn’t been fixed for about a year. It took them something like two years to fix another one where the mouse randomly left the window on a dual monitor setup and that one basically made me stop playing altogether. That said, I appreciate them supporting Linux in any case.
Exact same thing happened to a friend of mine a few months ago. Guess who took his package while he was at work? That’s right, the garbage men.
I’ve used old.reddit for over 10 years but looking at it now I realize that I just never had a better alternative. The default Lemmy interface is so nice and clean that I’d never even think about switching again.
I experienced that too and ended up just disabling the timed sleep mode. Not sure if it’s actually related to KDE software or just a Linux bug in general though.
PRAISE THE CUBE
From what I’ve read, I must be the luckiest person in the world. I’ve been on Linux for 10+ years and only ever had Nvidia hardware. I’ve never had any issues aside from the occasional Vsync annoyance.
No, the mods of the community can see who sent the report.
It’s a terrible Lemmy clone from what I’ve seen.
I’m afraid it’s terminal.
I’d be very nervous about those PSU cables right below the fan…
I used to work at a car dealership. One day I had to use a bay in a different building because my usual workplace was occupied. The other building had a lift that I hadn’t used before.
Anyways, I drove the car onto the lift, got out and placed the arms of the lift under the jacking points like I had done a thousand times before. I raised the lift a little and checked if the placement was still correct. It looked good, so I raised the car to a medium height. When I looked again, I realized that this lift had a central platform that was also raised and was set about 20 centimeters higher than the four arms that usually lift the car.
This 90.000 Euro SUV was basically balancing on a 180x50cm piece of metal right in the center. I managed to lower it down safely but my pulse goes up just thinking about that day.
Same here, it’s the reason why I kicked Ubuntu off my laptop. They removed any way to choose and made it such a pain to get around the Snap bullshit. I’m on Linux because I want to choose what I do with my system.
