I can also recommend Zorin OS for a semi-familiar look with a very polished design. Switched to it as my first distro after ditching Windows for good.

Oh my God I completely misunderstood the entire thread… sorry for making you write so much. OP is talking about downloading from jellyfin and sequential downloading has nothing to do with zips. i mixed up .part and .001 .002 etc. oops
I’m not sure whether I get what you guys are talking about. So, OP is downloading a torrent containing a sequential zip file? What I’m asking then is, how would he be able to continue seeding if the files were extracted by the torrent client?
Another question. When I’m downloading .part zip files as part of one torrent, how can I go about continuing seeding but not having to have both the archives and the extracted files to save space? Is that even possible?
How do you keep seeding it then?
That might be a lifesaver! I’ll try it today. I also see there’s a -cmin parameter which lets me be even more specific. Thanks
Oh the files don’t have the date in their names. Is -name still gonna work with ‘Aug 18’? I’m parsing for the date shown by -ls.
I’m using “find . -name ‘*-FLAIR’ -type d -ls -exec cp -lr -t …/…/…/media_links/ {} ; | grep ‘Aug 18’” to make hardlinks for directories created on a certain date. However, I always get an error saying that it can’t create hardlinks for a folder that doesn’t even match the find criteria, while it works for the folders that I wanted. So, everything works, but I just wanna know why I’m getting that error. Any help? lmk if u need more info
I’ll try that one, thanks.
Can you make custom collages using it? I’m looking for a lightweight photo editor that allows you to have a canvas on which you can have multiple photos of different sizes.
Thank you so much, man. I just installed it. Had the same problem.
I’ve been using Dopamine for years. Nothing ever got even close to it.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this lore drop.
Thank you so much for the answer and the link to “The Book”! The Linux world is so amazing and I’m happy to learn more.
That’s cool. So, this Compose key isn’t a thing on Windows? Thank you for the answer.
I definitely will. Thanks!
Thank you! I didn’t know such a key existed.
That’s odd. I’ll delete it since it’s empty and create a new one called just “applications”. I tried having both yesterday, but it didn’t work even though I put the Syncthing .desktop files inside and restarted my PC.
Why would it even be there? This is a fresh install of Zorin OS. I’ll just change it.
Ended up trying that, but it didn’t work. “Key exchange unsuccessful”, it said. Ended up installing both FF and KPXC over apt and it’s working like a charm.
Let’s GOOOO!
