If Linux adoption reaches a critical mass then the manufacturers will start fixing these issues themselves. If Linux was 30% of all users and AMD paid a team to fix Linux support, they would eat the competition alive, but if Linux is 3% it doesn’t make sense for them to devote resources to fixing Linux.

The Windows 11 TPM requirement means a lot of people with fine computers can’t update from 10, and computer parts aren’t as affordable as they were 5 years ago. When Windows 10 goes end of life it will be my sign to go back to daily driving Linux.

Every community lives on its instance(server).
When you browse your Local feed it only shows communities that live on the same instance you made your account on.
For federation: When you want to see a community on a different instance your instance will download a copy of the community from it’s home instance. Then if you make a change, like an upvote or a comment your community makes the change on its local copy, then it sends a copy of the change to the original community.
When two instances are defederated they stop sending or receiving updates from each others communities.

Length of credit and credit utilization, you get points* for the length that each account has been open, so when you pay off your loan the account is closed and no longer counts. Also as you get to the end of the repayment it shows as a $30k account that you owe les than $10k on, you get points for using less than half or less than a third of the credit available to you.
*You don’t actually get points, that would be too easy to understand, you get factors that affect a complex equation in your favor.
