What’s wrong with it?

Unless you’re European. Then driving manual is considered basic life skill like riding a bike.
Because they’re grounded.
As a dumb guy this would give me no clue. My 2c, if you’re interested in him, just tell him. Plain, straight, no bullshit around. Don’t try to obfuscate it or hide it in double meaning phrases, be as direct as possible.
If I can generalize, we guys are dumb idiots that usually can’t read what women hide between lines. We need it in simple sentences, ideally in written form to be really sure we understand it right.
I remember playing a few games at my cousins 286 when I was like 6 or 7. There were Accolade F1 and Moto GP, Zany Golf and one more game I just can’t remember the name. Its gameplay was a bit similar to pacman - narrow paths with obstacles and I think enemies chasing you, you played as a boy and there was even raft across a creek and I believe there was grizzly bear involved somehow. But the name? No idea…
One from MMO. I got accepted to a guild and after some time I hear somewhat familiar voice in voice channel. Turned out it was guy from the same village I grew up in, I knew him and he was my sisters classmate.
One from RL. I went to second biggest city in my country and accidentally bumped to my friend (also elementary school classmate) at random street whom I haven’t seen for years.
Yes, too much of them. That’s why I haven’t been there yet myself. It’s too touristy nowadays.
I don’t think you’re right. I’m pretty sure it’s stand alone and I think I played it without messing with Thief files…
Edit: it is stand alone according to their site https://www.thedarkmod.com/faq/
Haven’t played it much but for all fans of Thief games there’s foss game called The Dark Mod. And I haven’t seen it mentioned here, which is a shame.
Heroes 3 were the best heroes ever. Followed by Heroes 2 which are covered by fheroes engine too :-)
Morrowind was Bethesda’s peak moment, so obviously foss engine keeping it alive to this day is awesome!
Getting older I can only say: looks are overrated. During my time I used to have all kinds of hair styles: metalhead with long hair, medium length, short hair, almost no hair, and right now I have like half a centimeter, because it’s so hot weather and I sweat a lot and felt uncomfortable. Last time I cared about “how do girls look at my hair” was probably in my teens but even then I went against the stream, because metalhead long hair was far from being desirable.
IMO you should focus less on how do other perceive you (your look) and more on how you feel yourself. Having less (no) hair has so many benefits I can’t even think of going back to anything longer than ~inch. Sure I might look dumb, but that feeling of air breeze on my skull is so refreshing I couldn’t care less. Another benefit is much easier care. When I had long hair it felt like a chore to use shampoo, conditioner and brush the hair while it felt almost instantly “in need” of the procedure again. Now? Tsssch, I use whatever: shampoo, regular soap or just water, fast rinse and hair are almost immediately fresh feeling and also dry (huge plus imo).
And the most important note. If you ever find/found a partner who is/was with you just because your fabulous hair, I can assure you it is/was not the right one.
It’s understandable they have paid version. It was always there. But the wording around was dayn and night different and that’s what confused me. I needed “teamviewer alternative” last month, went there confident I have a solution, but after a moment of looking at the new-to-me site I was honestly not sure whether I can use it or not. More reading didn’t really help in this regard, so I went with RustDesk instead. It did the job I needed and ia open source on top of it.
I went to https://anydesk.com/en and got confused. I remeber (or maybe I just say so myself) years and years ago it stated obviously it’s free for personal use. Now it’s just generic site with links to download and not much info and obviously aimed at companies and their $$.
I remeber it used to be free for personal use, but it seems it’s paid plan only?
I can’t think of how p2p messengers even could have webapp.
It depends…
Edit: also depends on other factors, like family, children, etc. Having a child, you’d have to be really desperate to get another job instead of taking care of the kid.
Same for me with Black Mesa. Native version has all sorts of graphical glitches while Proton looks as it should.
OTOH some games like Valheim runs very well native.
I wonder what happens with all the hardware that is not considered W11 ready when W10 goes EOL. And no, I don’t think “switch to Linux” mantra is solution for everyone. It sure is possible for a lot of home users, but I mean mainly those thousands and thousands of office/corp/workstation PCs with SW that simply can’t be moved to Linux. Is it simply going to be one huge middle finger from MS?
Hello fellow universal donor. I’m blessed with the same blood type, so I donate the blood when I can at my local hospital. Usually 3x a year.
At first there was not much thought behind it, as both my parents went there too. When I turned 18 they just asked: “Do you want to go too?” And my answer was obviously yes, because why not? It was day off school, after all.
Now it’s just automatic. Since I only donate in my local hospital (small town, 15k people) I believe my blood gets to help people. They don’t pay for it, it’s volunteer, organized by red cross. They used to cover bus ride, but lately switched that for “food stamp” instead. We also get juice, coffee and snack once donated. The good part is, it’s still day off work where I live.
