Ah, bummer… Can’t you just log in using X11 instead of Wayland for the session when you want to play? Assuming it’s a Wayland issue…

Thanks, I’ve saved your comment and I’ll add them to the list.
I’ve only ever seen Short Cuts (loved it), the Player (liked it a lot), and McCabe and Mrs Miller (ehh…). How do you think I’d feel about his other films?
For some reason I’ve been having issues too, but I started adding this to my launch options in the game properties in Steam and it seems to work for several games. Dunno if this is the same issue as you though, but maybe worth a shot:
PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%
Also use Wayland.
I’ve recently come to terms with the fact that I guess I’ve just grown out of Star Wars. When you strip away all of the nostalgia, I don’t think any of the originals (or prequels) hold up at all. And the newer ones have just been trash.
Damn, Jackie Brown is great
Seriously, it’s always been the dumbest fucking premise of all time.
Short Cuts is amazing. Altman changed the game in many ways. I believe he changed the entire way we record dialogue because the way we did it before just didn’t work for him.
KoF 2002 is the correct answer if you’re looking for a “non-modern” KoF.
This is (presumably) people’s personal health care information. Please don’t fucking do this, Jesus Christ.
If not just because it’s a really shitty thing to do, I’m pretty sure it’s also at least one felony.
Why does Stalin “rule”? This is a question from a fellow “leftist.”
Either ignorant, or you’re just a really bad person. Just such a stupid fucking thing to say. Take a step back from the Internet and read a book. Saying “Stalin rules ✊” doesn’t make you cool, it just makes you look like an idiot.
Stalin was a paranoid, murderous dictator responsible for the unnecessary deaths of countless millions of people. Or does it not count because he didn’t murder them himself?
Can’t wait to hear about how the holomodor wasn’t his fault…
The Communist Manifesto was basically a pamphlet written to be understood by mostly uneducated workers… There’s not much reason to have never read it at this point, regardless of personal politics.
We’re not talking Atlas Shrugged or Das Kapital. It’s like 30 pages or something.
There are also (somewhat hidden) “hard modes” where the only indicator that you’re in a different mode is that the badge number next to the uBlock icon changes color.
You can have it block all third party scripts by default for every website, or even go all out and basically use it like noscript. Pretty much breaks every individual website though but you can choose individually what to let through and save it based on domain (I believe) so you really only need to do it once.
Again, only one data point but you basically just described me exactly
I can only speak for myself, but me getting a Steam Deck was step one in the process where eventually, about a year or so ago, I switched to Linux on my laptop, and I don’t have a single regret.
I will never use Windows again when it’s my choice.
Any reason to use it over Timeshift? Or same basic concept?

Oh don’t worry, these are likely mostly migrant children, so those people believe America is great because of this.
Also, they were probably separated from their parents at the border and haven’t seen them in years so I don’t think they’re saying that.
Ain’t this country grand?
Your ideology is trash, and nobody over the age of 23 takes you seriously and they never will.
Including your family. They hate you.
Even sadder that you don’t even seem to understand your own political ideology. How do you think child labor stops? You think the free market magically fixes it? Because I assure you that libertarians do not want regulations mandating that corporations cannot hire children. If you think that’s what libertarians believe, then I don’t know what to fucking tell you.
Dwarf Fortress is quite the rabbit hole. It’s so much more than just a game. The complexity of the simulation has actually made me wonder about simulation theory IRL.
It’s mind blowing.
