Oh this will be nice, I loved having this on iOS. I used it for things like sign in codes from TV apps or whatever. Hopefully it works offline like voice does so I can continue using GBoard without network permissions.

Yeah, I get notifications on my phone every 5 minutes until I change the laundry, it’s been very helpful honestly.

It’s a lot better these days with the CameraX extensions. My Snapchat looks just as good as the native camera on my Pixel.

You’re right about not going under 20% often, but you’ll want to charge to 100% at least periodically to allow the cells to balance.

Yeah, I’ve heard this one is particularly bad. It’s broadly fine but it is definitely slower than the one in my old OnePlus 7 Pro.

I did this on my website some time ago and honestly feels like it is the best way. You’re repecting the user’s wishes if they have a custom typeface specified, and the defaults on most OS’ are good these days otherwise.

Plus, you save some network requests and page size.

The answer is because they only made Android open in the first place to differenciate themselves because they couldn’t compete on hardware.

Now that they can, they are slowly but surely locking everyone else out to ensure their product is superior. The agreements OEMs have to agree to for Google Play are wildly anti-competitive, in my view.

Damn I didn’t know women didn’t exist on the internet! Also “making a big deal out of ones pronouns” is almost never the case, it’s always just a normal request for the respect of addressing someone properly.

It was my daily driver on iOS, because it felt very native, despite being a web app. Now that I’m on Android, I’ve been enjoying Summit for Lemmy.

I feel like it has one of the more polished feed layouts and spacing, and does a good job of using Material You styling. I added the GitHub to Obtanium to keep it updated.
