I always start my files with iso8601, except on s3 it doesn’t like the colon. Gotta replace the colons lol

The date format isn’t even human readable (at least in American). It should be Sun, Jan 14th
If you made it that far you could have made it into the corral too
This is assuming you live in a city and not a suburb
This person gets it
You can use the terminal commands to automate tasks, build cicd etc. Navigating file tree and performing tasks is much quicker once you get the hang of it. Lastly it translates well on all distros and even on Mac, or windows with wsl or cygwin
Just adding on that recursion could be problematic if used in the wrong way, like too many calls can over flow the call stack (assuming the compiler is not able to optimize that away).
Do I smell discrimination?
Can confirm, bought a Dell latitude 4790 which is a corporate machine refurbished for $270. It’s super powerful for the price, runs Fedora perfectly.
I bought a refurbished dall latitude 7490 for like 270$. For the price it’s a powerful machine, 16gb ram and i7 processor. Installed fedora on it and I’m in love with it. For the price it puts out the power I need for software development.
I’ll join
This week I bought a used Dell latitude 4790 for 300$ on Amazon and installed fedora on it. I love it! So light weight and customizable. I wish I had tried it sooner
Tell me you’re a Linux user without telling me you’re a Linux user
A machine that spins your can inside of water and ice exists and chills a drink within like a minute

+1 for photography it’s addicting to buy new gear lol
I started with a relatively cheap Lumix g95 ($700) m43 camera thinking it would have everything I need. But for video I wanted slow mo. It had slow mo but the bit rate was horrendous. At the time I had no idea and none of the information online told you this at all. It was just a check mark ✓ High Frame rate and I had no idea how important bit rate was. Bought better lenses (approx 1200$) because I wanted depth of field and lower light performance. Which m43 just couldn’t provide, but I really wouldn’t have known how much it couldn’t provide it. I trudged on.
Upgraded to GH5 (800$ on offer up), same lenses but much better sensor, higher frame rates, 4k support, better video codex’s. Still had issues with low light and depth of field. Oh yeah and to top it off all Lumix cameras have terrible auto focus. Which is only amplified by my yearning to have lower depth of field, cause more of the picture is out of focus. Now I want to pull the cord and buy a full frame sony camera (2500$ + another $2500 in lenses). I still think GH5 is a great camera and got good use out of it
I’ve seen something similar for your arm. It’s larger and at arms length so you can use more of your body weight to pull it open
A form of “self documentation” I like to do is create variables for conditions before using it in an if statement. If you break down a funky conditional into easy to read variables it becomes a lot more clear what it’s trying to do.
Idk how to write code on sync:
const isHumid = xxxx;
const isHot = yyyy;
const isSunny = zzzzz;
If (isHot && isHumid && isSunny) {
...
}
