Funny how, growing up without a boot on your throats changes your opinion.

Recently getting back into Linux, it’s like choose your own adventure in computing. It’s been fun.

At work I’ll have like 20+ tabs open and I eventually am like F it, close everything and start over. Usually feels good.

I remember as a kid, early 2k’s, I was active on a big forum at the time and they went and did a troll attack on the stormfront forum. Even a literal nazi forum had moderation. I can’t imagine how much worse a non moderated place might be.

I think stormfront registration is still open.

Like, IRC exists and it just as useful to me as discord. Set up a wiki for FAQ’s and documentation.

Yeah, I bring this up because I’ve been playing around with a similar idea of a simple html website for documenting personal projects. My site still isn’t really live, but I have it running on a vm through a cloud flare tunnel, similar to you.
